Crop Protection Chemicals
Crop protection chemicals are agrochemical actives and formulated products that protect crops from pests, diseases and weeds, covering insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and plant growth regulators for agriculture and horticulture. They are sourced as technical-grade actives or as finished formulations characterised by active ingredient, concentration and formulation type.
The range spans common actives across the major chemistries supplied as technical material, and finished products in formulation types such as EC, SC, WP, WG, SL and GR. Products are specified by active-ingredient identity and a.i. percentage or g/L, formulation type, and physical parameters (suspensibility, particle size, pH, persistent foam) per FAO/WHO-style specification framing. CoA per batch confirms a.i. content and physical conformity; HS classification is provided on documentation. Content is framed commercially, not as application or spraying instructions.
Packaging is typically drums and IBCs for liquids, and lined bags, fibre drums or jars for technical solids, with finished products in retail or commercial cans, bottles and sachets. Many actives are toxic or environmentally hazardous and ship under ADR/IMDG controls with the relevant UN number, packing group and labelling coordinated where required.
For EU buyers, plant protection products fall under Regulation (EC) 1107/2009 with national authorisation, distinct from REACH; CLP/GHS labelling and SDS are coordinated where required, and buyers should confirm active approval and product authorisation. Indian-side CIB&RC registration applies. SABER/SASO routing applies for Saudi Arabia.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply crop protection chemicals with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
