Soil Insecticides
Soil insecticides are crop-protection products formulated for soil application to manage soil-dwelling and root-zone insect pests, sourced by agro-input importers and distributors. Common active-ingredient families supplied from India include phorate and other granular organophosphates, fipronil, and selected carbamates, offered as technical-grade material and as soil-targeted formulations. This category covers commercial identity, active content, formulation type, and packaging — not application rates or field practice.
Grades and specifications are defined by declared a.i. percentage and formulation code. Granular products are designated GR (for example 10% GR, 0.3% GR) with stated granule-size range, while liquids may be supplied as EC, SC, or FS (flowable for seed treatment) with a declared a.i. load. Technical grade carries a minimum assay and impurity profile referenced to the relevant CIPAC or FAO/WHO specification. CAS and HS classification are provided on documentation rather than asserted here.
Packaging spans lined HDPE sacks and fibre drums for granules, and jerricans or drums for liquids; bulk technical is supplied in drums. Granule pack sizes commonly range from 1 kg consumer packs to 25-50 kg commercial sacks.
Compliance and logistics are coordinated where required: Indian-side CIB&RC registration of the source product, CoA per batch, SDS, GHS/CLP labelling for EU, and ADR/IMDG transport classification with UN-number framing for regulated items. Many soil organophosphates are transport-regulated, so consignment classification is arranged accordingly. Destination-market authorisation remains the importer's responsibility.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply soil insecticides with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
