Bio Pesticides
Bio pesticides are biologically based crop-protection products spanning microbial, botanical, and biochemical actives, sourced by agro-input distributors and importers seeking lower-residue inputs. The category covers microbial agents (Bacillus thuringiensis, Beauveria bassiana, Metarhizium, Trichoderma), botanicals (neem azadirachtin, pyrethrum), and biochemical products such as pheromones. This content addresses commercial identity, active content, formulation, and packaging rather than IPM programmes or field use.
Grades and specifications are expressed by the relevant active descriptor: microbial products by CFU per gram or ml or international units, botanicals by a.i. percentage or ppm (for example azadirachtin at a stated ppm). Formulation codes follow the international system — SC, WP, WG, SL, DP — with a stated potency. Buyers should confirm the assay and viability basis on the specification sheet; CAS and HS classification are provided on documentation rather than asserted here.
Packaging spans HDPE bottles and jerricans for liquids, and sachets, lined sacks, or fibre drums for powders and granules. Viability-sensitive microbial products may carry a shaded or cool-storage note as a specification parameter.
Compliance and logistics are coordinated where required: Indian-side CIB&RC registration on the defined biopesticide track, CoA per batch with potency/viability data, SDS, and GHS/CLP labelling for EU. Biopesticides often have a distinct, lighter regulatory pathway in the EU and GCC, but importer-side authorisation in the destination market remains the buyer's responsibility.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply bio pesticides with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
