Contact Fungicides
Contact fungicides are crop-protection products that act on the plant surface to protect against fungal disease, supplied to agro-input importers, formulators, and distributors. Active-ingredient families sourced from India include mancozeb, copper-based actives (copper oxychloride, copper hydroxide), chlorothalonil, and sulphur, offered as technical-grade material and as finished formulations. This category covers commercial identity, active content, formulation, and packaging rather than spray timing or field practice.
Grades and specifications are defined by declared a.i. percentage and formulation code. Technical and processed grades carry a minimum assay with an impurity profile referenced to the relevant CIPAC or FAO/WHO specification — for example mancozeb technical, copper oxychloride at a stated metallic-copper basis, or wettable sulphur. Finished formulations are designated WP, WG, SC, or DP with a stated a.i. load (such as 75% WP, 80% WG). CAS and HS classification are provided on documentation rather than asserted here.
Packaging spans lined HDPE sacks and fibre drums for powders and granules, and jerricans or drums for liquid/flowable products; consumer packs from 100 g to commercial 25 kg sacks are common.
Compliance and logistics are coordinated where required: Indian-side CIB&RC registration of the source product, CoA per batch, SDS, GHS/CLP labelling for EU, and ADR/IMDG framing where applicable. EU placement of finished product generally requires the importer's authorisation in their market.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply contact fungicides with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
