TPE Resins
TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) resins are a family of rubber-like polymers that combine the flexibility and feel of vulcanised rubber with the melt-processability of thermoplastics. They are supplied as pellets for injection moulding and extrusion of soft-touch grips, seals, gaskets, over-moulded handles, automotive interior and weather-seal parts, consumer goods, toothbrush and tool handles, and medical and food-contact components. Their appeal is processing on standard thermoplastic equipment while delivering elastomeric feel and recovery.
Grades are typically specified by Shore hardness (commonly Shore A 20-90, extending into Shore D for stiffer grades), the chemistry family (TPE-S/SEBS-based, TPV, TPO, or TPE compounds), melt flow index (MFI per ASTM D1238 / ISO 1133), colour (natural or pre-coloured), and adhesion behaviour for over-moulding onto PP, ABS, PC, or PA substrates. Buyers also call out compression set, tensile and elongation, UV resistance, and food- or medical-contact suitability.
Packaging is generally 25 kg bags or octabins/FIBC for bulk, with moisture-protective liners where required. Storage and pre-drying parameters appear as specification notes on the technical data sheet.
For EU import, REACH framing, food-contact declarations referenced to EU 10/2011 (and FDA framing where relevant), and SDS are coordinated where required; SABER/SASO routing is arranged for Saudi Arabia. HS code is provided on documentation.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply TPE resins with CoA per batch (hardness, MFI, colour), SDS, food/medical-contact declarations where applicable, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
