  • Textile Dyes

Textile dyes are soluble or solubilised colorants applied to fibres and fabrics to impart colour with controlled fastness. The class is organised by application chemistry: reactive dyes for cellulosics (cotton, viscose), disperse dyes for polyester and synthetics, acid dyes for wool, silk and nylon, direct dyes for cellulosics, and vat and sulphur dyes for high-wash-fastness cotton. Buyers select a class by fibre type, required fastness and the dyeing process.

Products are identified by Colour Index generic name, for example CI Reactive, Disperse, Acid or Direct designations, alongside parameters such as shade, strength, exhaustion/fixation, light and wash fastness ratings, and salt/temperature requirements. Forms include powders, granules and liquids. The buyer's shade card, fibre and process govern selection; HS code is provided on documentation.

Packaging is offered as 25 kg bags, fibre drums and lined drums or IBCs for liquids, with FIBC bulk for high-volume shades; lab dips and shade approvals precede bulk production.

Compliance support typically covers REACH registration or Only Representative coverage for EU, CLP/GHS classification and SDS, and screening against REACH Annex XVII entry 43 for azo dyes that may release listed aromatic amines in skin-contact textile and leather goods; eco-label and OEKO-TEX-aligned options are available on request. SABER/SASO is coordinated for Saudi Arabia where required.

Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply textile dyes with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
