Rigid PVC
Rigid PVC (unplasticised PVC, uPVC) is a polyvinyl chloride compound formulated without plasticiser to deliver high stiffness, weatherability, flame retardance, and chemical resistance. It is the dominant material for pressure and drainage pipe, window and door profiles, rigid sheet, fittings, and electrical conduit, and is supplied as suspension PVC resin or as ready-to-process rigid compound/granules.
Grades are specified by K-value (a viscosity-derived molecular-weight index), with K-65 to K-67 suspension resin typical for rigid pipe and profile, alongside compound formulations defined by their stabiliser system (calcium-zinc for non-lead, low-toxicity applications), impact modifier, filler, and titanium dioxide loading. Buyers specify K-value, bulk density, residual VCM, and any UV or impact-modification requirements per IS/EN profile and pipe standards. Drinking-water pipe applications reference relevant potable-water approvals.
Forms include suspension PVC resin (powder) and dry-blended or pelletised rigid compound. Packaging is typically 25 kg paper or PE bags palletised, 500-1250 kg FIBC/jumbo bags for resin, or octabins, with FCL consignments standard for EU and GCC importers.
For EU buyers, REACH registration is confirmed and an Only Representative pathway coordinated where required; CLP labelling and SDS accompany shipments, and SABER/SASO is arranged for Saudi Arabia. Himalay's verified manufacturer/exporter partners supply rigid PVC resin and compound with CoA per batch (K-value, bulk density, where applicable residual VCM), SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
