  • Printing Ink Pigments

Printing ink pigments are colorants formulated and selected for ink systems across offset (litho), flexography, gravure, screen and packaging printing. Typical end uses include publication and commercial printing, flexible and folding-carton packaging, labels, and security printing. Buyers select pigments by print process, substrate and the fastness and food-contact requirements of the end application.

Products are identified by Colour Index generic name, for example CI Pigment Yellow, Red, Blue and Black designations, with process-specific grades distinguished by rheology, transparency or opacity, gloss, particle size and dispersibility, and light, heat and solvent fastness. Process colours for four-colour (CMYK) printing, high-strength flushed pigments and pigment pre-dispersions are common forms. Low-migration grades are specified for food-packaging inks, and high-strength flushed forms reduce dispersion effort on press. The buyer's process and substrate spec governs selection; HS code is provided on documentation.

Packaging is offered as 20-25 kg bags or fibre drums for powders, with flushed pastes and dispersions in lined drums; samples support print and fastness approval.

Compliance support typically covers REACH registration or Only Representative coverage for EU, CLP/GHS classification and SDS, screening against REACH Annex XVII entry 43 where relevant, and food-contact alignment (low-migration) for packaging inks where required. SABER/SASO is coordinated for Saudi Arabia.

Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply printing ink pigments with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
