Natural Extract Dyes
Natural extract dyes are concentrated, standardised colorant extracts prepared from natural sources — plant, insect (for example lac and cochineal-type reds) and mineral-origin materials — supplied as purified powders or liquids for reproducible colour. Typical end uses include natural textile and leather dyeing, cosmetics and personal care, and colour for food-adjacent and craft applications. Buyers choose standardised extracts over raw botanicals for tighter shade control and easier dosing.
Products are specified by source and colorant assay or colour value, moisture, ash, solvent-residue limits and particle size, with extracts standardised to a defined strength so shade is reproducible batch to batch. Where a Colour Index Natural name applies it is referenced. Liquid extracts are specified by colour value and solids content. The buyer's spec and approved standard govern selection; HS code is provided on documentation.
Packaging is offered as 25 kg bags and fibre drums for powders, lined drums and IBCs for liquids, with moisture-barrier or light-protected packing for sensitive extracts; samples support shade approval.
Compliance support typically covers REACH registration or Only Representative coverage for EU where applicable, CLP/GHS classification and SDS, and natural-origin, allergen or organic-certification documentation on request; food-adjacent grades are confirmed against the relevant framework. SABER/SASO is coordinated for Saudi Arabia where required.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply natural extract dyes with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
