Desizing Agents
Desizing agents are textile pre-treatment chemicals that remove sizing materials (starch, PVA, CMC and other film-forming agents) applied to warp yarns before weaving, so fabric can absorb subsequent scouring, bleaching and dyeing chemistry evenly. Typical end uses are the first wet-processing step for woven cotton, blends and other sized fabrics in textile mills. Buyers choose them to ensure clean, uniform fabric and reliable downstream dye uptake.
Products are mainly enzymatic desizing agents (amylase-based) for starch-sized goods and oxidative or acid desizing agents for mixed or synthetic sizes, specified by enzyme activity or active content, optimum pH and temperature range, ionic character and compatibility with wetting agents. Enzymatic grades are favoured for milder, lower-effluent processing. Forms are typically liquids and some powders. The buyer's size type and process spec governs selection; HS code is provided on documentation.
Packaging is offered as 25-50 kg carboys and jerrycans, 200-220 kg drums and IBCs for liquids, and bags for powders; samples support application trials.
Compliance support typically covers REACH registration or Only Representative coverage for EU, CLP/GHS classification and SDS, and ZDHC-aligned and OEKO-TEX-aligned options on request; enzyme grades may carry additional handling notes. SABER/SASO is coordinated for Saudi Arabia where required.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply desizing agents with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
