Azo Pigments
Azo pigments are organic pigments built on one or more azo (-N=N-) chromophore groups, forming the largest pigment class and the workhorse of yellow, orange and red shades. Typical end uses include printing inks, plastics and masterbatch, decorative and industrial coatings, rubber, and textile pigment printing. Buyers value their broad shade range, good tinctorial strength and generally favourable cost versus high-performance pigment classes.
Products are identified by Colour Index generic name, for example CI Pigment Yellow, Orange or Red designations, within the azo constitution-number range, alongside grade parameters such as colour strength, shade, opacity or transparency, particle size, oil absorption, and light, heat and migration fastness. Monoazo, diazo (disazo) and benzimidazolone azo types span economy to higher-performance grades. The buyer's shade and fastness spec governs selection; HS code is provided on documentation.
Packaging is offered as 20-25 kg bags or fibre drums for powders, with pre-dispersed forms and FIBC bulk available; samples support shade and fastness approval.
