Urea Fertilizers
Urea is the most widely traded straight nitrogen fertilizer, valued for its high nutrient concentration and broad use across cereals, oilseeds, and plantation crops. As the densest solid nitrogen source in common circulation, it underpins bulk fertilizer programmes for arable buyers in the EU and GCC who blend, bag, or apply it directly.
Indian-origin urea is typically offered at a minimum 46% total nitrogen on a dry basis, with biuret generally held at or below 1.5% and moisture at or below 1.0% in line with the Fertiliser (Control) Order framework. Both prilled and granular forms are available; granular grades suit bulk blending and mechanical spreading, while prilled grades are common for direct application and solution preparation. Particle-size guarantees and free-flowing condition are usually stated on the specification sheet, and feed-grade or technical low-biuret material can be sourced where buyers request it.
Packaging is generally supplied in 50 kg polypropylene bags, 500–1000 kg FIBC jumbo bags, or in bulk for vessel and ISO-container shipment. Moisture-barrier liners are commonly specified for sea freight to humid destinations.
For EU buyers, urea may be placed on the market as an EC fertilising product under Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 or under national routes, with CE marking and labelling coordinated where required; GHS classification and SDS are provided, and SABER documentation is arranged for Saudi consignments. Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply urea fertilizers with CoA per batch, SDS, EU fertilising-product and CLP compliance coordinated for Europe, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
