Tower Accessories
Tower accessories are the fitments, mounting hardware and safety components that equip a tower or monopole for antenna installation, cable management, access and protection. They are sourced alongside the main structure but specified on their own load, fit and corrosion-protection criteria, and they determine how safely and efficiently a site can be built and maintained.
The family includes antenna mounting frames and pole-mount kits, cable trays and ladders, waveguide/feeder clamps, climbing ladders and fall-arrest rails, work platforms and rest platforms, lightning finials and earthing/bonding kits, and aviation obstruction lights. Key commercial parameters are load rating and compatibility with the parent structure and antenna, dimensional fit (pole diameters, frame spans), and corrosion protection — with hot-dip galvanising to EN ISO 1461 (ASTM A123 where specified) the usual finish for steel items. Electrical accessories such as earthing kits and obstruction lights additionally carry relevant electrical and ingress ratings.
Construction centres on galvanised structural-steel and stainless components, with engineered clamps and brackets sized to standard pole and member dimensions. Earthing and lightning-protection items follow recognised bonding practice, and obstruction lights are rated for outdoor service with appropriate IP protection per IEC/EN 60529.
Configuration options usually include a range of frame spans and pole-diameter ranges, fixed or adjustable mounts, ladder/platform sizes, and earthing/lightning and aviation-light packages.
