Titration Reagents
Titration reagents are standardised solutions and indicators used in volumetric and Karl Fischer analysis to quantify analyte concentration, sourced by analytical, pharma QC, and water-testing laboratories. The category spans volumetric standard solutions (acids, bases, redox titrants, complexometric EDTA), Karl Fischer reagents for moisture determination, and titration indicators.
Grades and specifications centre on declared concentration and traceability. Volumetric solutions are supplied at standardised normality or molarity (for example 0.1 N, 1.0 N, 0.5 M) with a stated titre factor and standardisation against a primary standard. Karl Fischer reagents are specified by water capacity (mg water per ml) for single- or two-component systems, with sodium tartrate dihydrate as a common water standard. Traceability to recognised references underpins the certified value, and each lot ships with a CoA giving the actual factor and expiry. CAS and HS classification are provided on documentation rather than asserted here.
Packaging is laboratory-scale: amber glass bottles (500 ml, 1 L, 2.5 L) for light-sensitive titrants, HDPE bottles for alkaline solutions, and sealed packaging for moisture-sensitive Karl Fischer reagents, with a stated shelf life.
Compliance and logistics are coordinated where required: CoA per lot with titre/factor, SDS, GHS/CLP labelling for EU, and ADR/IMDG classification for regulated solvents (several Karl Fischer reagents contain flammable or toxic solvents). REACH coordination applies where required; SABER/SASO for Saudi Arabia is arranged on request.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply titration reagents with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
