  • Surface Treatment Chemicals

Surface treatment chemicals condition and finish surfaces across electroplating, anodising, electroless plating, painting and general industrial finishing. They cover the broad pretreatment-to-finishing chain for metals, plastics and substrates where adhesion, appearance and corrosion protection matter.

The range includes alkaline and acid cleaners, activators and pickles, electroplating salts and brighteners (nickel, zinc, copper, chromium, tin systems), electroless nickel chemistry, anodising and sealing chemicals, and conversion coatings. Products are specified by active concentration, metal content where relevant, operating point ranges, and the substrate and finish they suit. CoA per batch confirms conformity to the agreed technical data sheet; HS classification is provided on documentation. Content is framed commercially rather than as plating-line operating instructions.

Packaging is typically pails and carboys, HDPE drums and IBCs for liquids, and 25/50 kg bags for solid salts and brightener concentrates. Many components are corrosive, oxidising or otherwise regulated and ship under ADR/IMDG controls with the relevant UN number and labelling coordinated where required.

For EU buyers, REACH registration or an Only Representative pathway and CLP/GHS labelling are coordinated where required, with SDS supplied per consignment; certain chromium and nickel chemistries may carry additional authorisation or restriction considerations. SABER/SASO routing applies for Saudi Arabia, and Indian-side documentation is arranged as needed.

Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply surface treatment chemicals with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
