Proteins
Proteins in this category are purified or technical protein preparations — bovine serum albumin (BSA), gelatin and collagen, casein and caseinates, soy and other plant proteins, and assorted carrier and blocking proteins — supplied for laboratory and diagnostic use, cell culture and biochemistry, food and nutrition, and industrial applications. Buyers select them by purity, protein content, source, and functional attributes such as endotoxin level, protease activity, gel strength or solubility, because these define suitability far more than a single assay value.
Grades span technical/industrial, food grade, and laboratory/reagent and molecular-biology or cell-culture grade (for example low-endotoxin, IgG-free or protease-free BSA). Spec sheets commonly cover protein content (e.g. by Kjeldahl/Lowry), moisture, pH, source and traceability, microbial and endotoxin limits, and functional metrics like Bloom value for gelatin. Many are animal- or plant-derived; documentation states source and, where relevant, TSE/BSE and food-grade status. CAS and HS framing is provided on documentation rather than assumed here.
Forms include vials and bottles for laboratory quantities, lined 25 kg bags or fibre drums for bulk powders; sensitive grades may require cool storage as a specification note.
For EU import, REACH applicability for protein substances, food-contact or food-additive status, and CLP/GHS labelling are coordinated where required, with SDS supplied. SABER/SASO is coordinated for Saudi Arabia.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply proteins with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
