Protective Coatings
Protective coatings are applied films that shield steel, concrete and other substrates from corrosion, chemicals, abrasion and weathering across infrastructure, marine, oil and gas, industrial plant and structural-steel applications. They are sourced as defined products characterised by binder chemistry, system role and performance environment.
The range includes epoxy and zinc-rich epoxy primers, polyurethane and polyaspartic topcoats, inorganic and organic zinc primers, coal-tar and pure epoxies, intumescent fire-protection coatings and high-temperature systems. Products are specified by binder type and solids content, volume solids and recommended dry film thickness, number of components and mix ratio, VOC content, and performance against recognised corrosivity-category frameworks (for example ISO 12944 environment classes). CoA or technical data sheets confirm key properties per batch; HS classification is provided on documentation. Content is framed commercially, not as application or surface-prep procedures.
Packaging is typically pre-measured kits for multi-component systems, 4/20 litre cans and pails, and drums for bulk. Many coatings contain flammable solvents and ship under ADR/IMDG controls with the relevant UN number, packing group and labelling coordinated where required; high-solids and waterborne grades may be non-regulated.
For EU buyers, REACH registration or an Only Representative pathway and CLP/GHS labelling are coordinated where required, with SDS supplied per consignment; VOC-directive compliance is noted where relevant. SABER/SASO routing applies for Saudi Arabia, and Indian-side documentation is arranged as needed.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply protective coatings with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
