  • Potash Fertilizers

Potash fertilizers supply potassium, the third primary macronutrient, supporting water regulation, fruit quality, and stress tolerance across a wide range of crops. The principal traded products are muriate of potash (MOP, potassium chloride) and sulphate of potash (SOP, potassium sulphate), both in demand among EU and GCC buyers serving chloride-sensitive horticulture as well as broad-acre arable programmes.

Indian-origin and India-routed MOP is typically offered at around 60% K2O in standard or granular grades, while SOP is offered near 50% K2O with around 17-18% sulphur and very low chloride, suiting fruit, vegetable, and tobacco buyers. Guaranteed K2O, chloride, moisture, and particle size are stated per the Fertiliser (Control) Order framework, and crystalline water-soluble SOP grades for fertigation are distinguished on the specification.

Packaging is generally 50 kg PP bags, FIBC jumbo bags, or bulk for vessel shipment; soluble grades are commonly in 25 kg moisture-barrier bags, and anti-caking treatment is offered where humid transit or storage is expected.

For the EU, potash fertilizers may be placed on the market as EC fertilising products under Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 or by national routes, with CE marking, CLP/GHS labelling, and SDS coordinated where required, and SABER documentation arranged for Saudi consignments. Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply potash fertilizers with CoA per batch, SDS, EU fertilising-product and CLP compliance coordinated for Europe, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
