Pins, tacks and staples cover the family of small fasteners used for locating, joining, securing, and temporary fixing across machinery, upholstery, packaging, joinery, and electrical work. The group brings together engineering pins that align and retain machine parts and lighter fasteners that fix sheet, fabric and packaging. Engineering pins include dowel pins to ISO 2338 (parallel) and ISO 8734 (hardened), spring (slotted) tension pins to ISO 8752, coiled spring pins, taper pins to ISO 2339, clevis pins, split (cotter) pins to ISO 1234, and grooved and spring dowels — each chosen for fit, shear capacity and ease of assembly. Tacks and staples include upholstery tacks, carpet and cut tacks, and fine-wire, medium-wire and heavy-wire staples in collated strips for pneumatic and manual staplers used in upholstery, fencing, packaging and cabinetwork.
