  • Monopoles & Poles

Monopoles and poles are single-shaft steel structures that elevate antennas where a slender, low-footprint support is preferred over a lattice tower — commonly in urban, roadside and aesthetically sensitive locations. Like other tower products, sourcing is structural: shaft design, wind-load capacity, height and corrosion protection drive the specification.

The family includes tapered tubular monopoles, polygonal (multi-sided) poles, street and rooftop poles, and camouflaged/streetscape variants. Key commercial parameters are design height, top antenna-loading capacity, wind-load rating (typically designed to TIA-222 or equivalent codes for a site basic wind speed), shaft material and wall-thickness gradation (rolled structural-steel plate such as A500/A36-class), base-plate and anchor-bolt design, and deflection limits. Corrosion protection is central, with hot-dip galvanising to EN ISO 1461 (ASTM A123 where specified) or a galvanise-plus-paint finish for streetscape aesthetics.

Construction centres on a tapered or stepped tubular/polygonal shaft, often slip-jointed or flange-bolted in sections, with an engineered base plate and anchor-bolt cage sized to the foundation reactions. Each pole is generally engineered to the site's wind zone and antenna schedule, supported by structural calculations.

Configuration options usually include solid or sectional shafts, internal or external cable routing, a range of heights and top-loading capacities, climbing/access provisions and finish options. Himalay's verified manufacturer partners supply monopoles and poles with test reports/CoC, hot-dip galvanising certificates to EN ISO 1461, CE under the relevant construction-products framework where applicable, RoHS/REACH where relevant, and SABER (Saudi Arabia) coordinated as part of the standard order flow; structural calculations or factory acceptance testing arranged where specified.
