Methanol solvents are methanol (methyl alcohol) supplied across purity grades for use as a process solvent, reaction medium and feedstock, a cleaning and extraction fluid, an antifreeze and dehydration agent, and as a chromatography mobile phase and laboratory reagent. Buyers in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, coatings, energy and analytical laboratories select methanol by assay, water content and residue, because trace water and impurities affect reaction yield, drying and analytical baseline.

Grades span industrial/commercial (often IMPCA-referenced for bulk trade) through laboratory reagent and analytical reagent (AR/ACS), with HPLC, gradient, LC-MS and GC grades for instrument work and electronic grade for microelectronics. Spec sheets commonly cover assay by GC, water content (Karl Fischer), acidity/alkalinity, residue on evaporation, colour (Pt-Co), permanganate time and, for chromatography grades, UV cut-off and gradient suitability. CAS and HS details are provided on documentation rather than assumed here.

Forms include reagent and HPLC bottles, 200–210 L steel drums, 1000 L IBCs and ISO tanks for bulk; methanol is flammable and toxic and is packed and documented accordingly.

For EU import, REACH registration or an Only Representative pathway is coordinated where required, with CLP/GHS labelling and SDS supplied; the flammable and toxic classification means ADR/IMDG class and UN number are assigned. SABER/SASO is coordinated for Saudi Arabia.

Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply methanol solvents with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
