Metal Treatment Chemicals
Metal treatment chemicals are formulated products used to clean, pickle, phosphate, passivate, blacken, brighten and otherwise condition metal substrates before further finishing. They serve automotive, fabrication, fasteners, white goods and general engineering, where surface preparation governs paint adhesion and corrosion resistance.
The range covers alkaline and acid cleaners/degreasers, pickling and descaling acids, iron and zinc phosphating chemicals, chromate and chrome-free passivates, black-oxide and bluing salts, and rust converters. Products are specified by active concentration, free and total acid/alkali points, recommended bath temperature and operating ratios, and the metallurgy they suit (steel, zinc, aluminium, copper alloys). CoA per batch confirms conformity to the agreed technical data sheet; HS classification is provided on documentation. Specs are described commercially, not as bath operating procedures.
Packaging is typically 25/30 kg carboys and pails, HDPE drums and IBCs for liquids, and 25/50 kg bags for powder concentrates. Many components are corrosive or otherwise regulated and ship under ADR/IMDG controls with the relevant UN number and labelling coordinated where required.
For EU buyers, REACH registration or an Only Representative pathway and CLP/GHS labelling are coordinated where required, with SDS supplied per consignment; chromate-bearing grades may carry additional authorisation considerations. SABER/SASO routing applies for Saudi Arabia, and Indian-side documentation is arranged as needed.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply metal treatment chemicals with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
