  • Metal Salts

Metal salts are crystalline or powdered inorganic compounds (chlorides, sulphates, nitrates, acetates, carbonates and related forms of metals such as copper, nickel, zinc, iron, cobalt and manganese) used as laboratory reagents, plating electrolytes, catalysts, pigment precursors and analytical standards. Buyers across coatings, electroplating, water treatment, battery materials and academic laboratories specify them by metal, anion, hydration state and grade, because the same compound can be supplied for bulk industrial dosing or for trace-controlled analytical work.

Grades typically span technical/commercial, laboratory reagent (LR), analytical reagent (AR) and ACS-tested quality, with pharmaceutical (USP/EP) options for select salts. Reagent and AR grades usually carry assays in the 99.0 percent and higher band with controlled limits on insolubles, heavy metals, chlorides and loss-on-drying; technical grades trade tighter impurity panels for cost. Specifications commonly cover assay, water of crystallisation, pH of solution, particle size and trace-metal limits. HS classification and CAS framing are provided on documentation rather than assumed here.

Forms include powders, crystals, granules and prills, packed in HDPE-lined bags (25 and 50 kg), fibre or HDPE drums, and bottles for reagent quantities; hygroscopic salts ship in moisture-barrier or double-lined packing.

For EU shipments, REACH registration or an Only Representative pathway is coordinated where required, with CLP/GHS labelling and SDS supplied; oxidising or corrosive salts are assigned ADR/IMDG classification and UN numbers as applicable. SABER/SASO is coordinated for Saudi Arabia.

Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply metal salts with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
