Iron Fertilizers
Iron fertilizers address iron deficiency and lime-induced chlorosis, which yellow new growth in fruit, vine, and ornamental crops on calcareous and high-pH soils common across the GCC and parts of the EU. They are sourced for soil correction, fertigation, and foliar programmes by importers and formulators.
The principal Indian-origin products are ferrous sulphate heptahydrate at around 19% iron and chelated iron grades, notably Fe-EDTA at around 12% iron and Fe-EDDHA at around 6% iron with a defined ortho-ortho isomer fraction that determines stability at high pH. Guaranteed iron content, chelating agent, water solubility, and (for EDDHA) the ortho-ortho ratio are stated on the specification, with FCO micronutrient definitions referenced where relevant. Fertilizer and technical grades are distinguished according to buyer formulation needs, and higher ortho-ortho EDDHA grades are offered where the most demanding high-pH soils require maximum chelate stability.
Packaging is generally 25 kg or 50 kg bags for ferrous sulphate, and 25 kg moisture-barrier bags or drums for chelated grades.
For the EU, iron fertilizers may be placed on the market under the micronutrient provisions of Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 or national routes, with CE marking, CLP/GHS labelling, and SDS coordinated where required, and SABER documentation arranged for Saudi consignments. Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply iron fertilizers with CoA per batch, SDS, EU fertilising-product and CLP compliance coordinated for Europe, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
