Industrial Greases
Industrial greases are semi-solid lubricants that stay in place where oils would drain, lubricating bearings, gears, chassis, open gearing and high-load or contaminated-environment applications. They are sourced as defined products characterised by consistency, thickener type and base-oil viscosity for a given duty.
The range includes lithium and lithium-complex, calcium and calcium-sulphonate, polyurea, aluminium-complex and bentonite (clay) greases, plus EP, moly-fortified, high-temperature, food-grade and synthetic variants. Products are specified by NLGI consistency grade (an ASTM D217 cone-penetration classification from 000 semi-fluid to 6 solid, with NLGI 2 the most common bearing grade), thickener type, base-oil ISO VG viscosity, dropping point, and EP/anti-wear performance. The NLGI grade governs consistency while the base-oil ISO VG governs film formation, so both are usually specified. CoA per batch confirms key properties; HS classification is provided on documentation. Content is framed commercially.
Packaging is typically cartridges, 500 g/1 kg tins, 18/20 kg pails, and 180 kg drums. Most greases are not transport-regulated as hazardous, with SDS handling notes; any regulated grade ships under ADR/IMDG with labelling coordinated where required.
For EU buyers, REACH registration or an Only Representative pathway and CLP/GHS labelling are coordinated where required, with SDS supplied per consignment; food-grade lines may carry NSF-style registration documentation where requested. SABER/SASO routing applies for Saudi Arabia, and Indian-side documentation is arranged as needed.
