Industrial Acids
Industrial acids are bulk inorganic and organic acids used across metal pickling, fertiliser and phosphate processing, water treatment, batteries, food and pharmaceutical manufacturing, and general chemical synthesis. Common lines include sulphuric, hydrochloric, nitric, phosphoric, acetic, formic and citric acid, each specified by concentration and grade for a defined end use rather than a single universal quality.
Grades are offered as technical/commercial, electronic, battery, food and reagent/AR quality, distinguished by assay strength (for example sulphuric acid at typical 98 percent or battery-grade dilutions), heavy-metal limits, chloride/sulphate content, iron and residue-on-ignition values. Buyers usually specify minimum assay, maximum impurity ceilings and the applicable IS/ASTM/food-grade reference; CoA per batch confirms conformity. HS classification and any specific identifiers are provided on shipping documentation.
Packaging depends on concentration and hazard class: HDPE or rubber-lined drums and carboys, IBCs, road tankers and ISO tanks for bulk liquid, and bags for solid organic acids such as citric or oxalic. Liquid mineral acids are typically corrosive (UN-classed) and ship under ADR/IMDG controls with appropriate UN numbering, packing group and labelling coordinated where required.
For EU buyers, REACH registration or an Only Representative pathway and CLP/GHS labelling are coordinated where required, with SDS supplied per consignment. SABER/SASO routing applies for Saudi Arabia, and Indian-side documentation is arranged as needed.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply industrial acids with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
