Heterogeneous Catalysts
Heterogeneous catalysts operate in a different phase from the reactants, typically as solids contacting liquid or gas streams, and dominate continuous fixed-bed and slurry processes in refining, petrochemicals, hydrogenation, oxidation and emission control. Their solid form makes separation and reuse straightforward, which is why they are preferred for large-scale flow chemistry.
The range includes supported precious and base metals (palladium, platinum, nickel, copper, cobalt on alumina, carbon, silica or titania), zeolites and molecular sieves, metal-oxide and mixed-oxide systems, and structured monoliths. Products are specified by active-metal loading (weight percent), support and surface area, pellet/extrudate/sphere dimension and crush strength, bulk density and pore structure. CoA per batch confirms metal content and physical conformity; HS classification is provided on documentation. Specifications are described commercially, not as reaction procedures.
Packaging is typically sealed drums, kegs, lined pails or moisture-barrier bags, with precious-metal grades in secure, sometimes inert-blanketed packaging. Pyrophoric or moisture-sensitive grades ship under ADR/IMDG controls with the relevant UN number and labelling coordinated where required.
For EU buyers, REACH registration or an Only Representative pathway and CLP/GHS labelling are coordinated where required, with SDS supplied per consignment. SABER/SASO routing applies for Saudi Arabia, and Indian-side documentation is arranged as needed.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply heterogeneous catalysts with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
