Biocides
Biocides are active substances and formulated products that control harmful organisms such as bacteria, algae, fungi and other pests, used in water treatment, disinfection and sanitation, material and in-can preservation, cooling-tower and process-water programmes, and industrial hygiene. Buyers source them by active substance, concentration and the intended product-type use.
The range includes oxidising biocides (chlorine-release compounds, bromine-based products), non-oxidising biocides (isothiazolinones, quaternary ammonium compounds, glutaraldehyde, DBNPA), and preservatives for coatings, adhesives and other formulations. Products are specified by active-ingredient identity and percentage, appearance, pH and density, and the EU Biocidal Products Regulation product type (PT) for the intended use. CoA per batch confirms active content; HS classification is provided on documentation. Content is framed commercially, not as application or dosing procedure.
Packaging is typically pails, carboys, HDPE drums and IBCs for liquids, and bags or drums for solid biocides. Many are corrosive, oxidising or toxic and ship under ADR/IMDG controls with the relevant UN number, packing group and labelling coordinated where required.
For EU buyers, the Biocidal Products Regulation (EU 528/2012) governs market access: the active substance must be approved for the relevant product type and the product authorised, with REACH/CLP and GHS labelling and SDS coordinated where required. Buyers should confirm BPR status for their PT and member state. SABER/SASO routing applies for Saudi Arabia, and Indian-side documentation is arranged as needed.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply biocides with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
