Anti-Corrosion Compounds
Anti-corrosion compounds protect metal parts and assemblies from rust and corrosion during manufacture, storage and transit, covering rust-preventive oils, waxes, greases, water-displacing fluids and vapour-phase corrosion inhibitor (VCI) products. They serve fasteners, bearings, machined components, sheet and coil, and packaged export goods.
The range includes solvent-deposited and oil-type rust preventives, soft-film and hard-film waxes, water-displacing fluids, dewatering fluids, and VCI papers, films and emitters. Products are specified by film type and thickness, protection duration (indoor versus outdoor/marine), removability, flash point, and salt-spray performance against recognised test references. CoA or technical data sheets confirm key properties per batch; HS classification is provided on documentation. Content is framed commercially, not as application procedures.
Packaging is typically 20/210 litre pails and drums and IBCs for liquids, pails for waxes, and rolls/sheets or sachets for VCI products. Solvent-borne and low-flash grades may be flammable and ship under ADR/IMDG controls with the relevant UN number, packing group and labelling coordinated where required; oil-type and VCI products are commonly non-regulated.
For EU buyers, REACH registration or an Only Representative pathway and CLP/GHS labelling are coordinated where required, with SDS supplied per consignment. SABER/SASO routing applies for Saudi Arabia, and Indian-side documentation is arranged as needed.
