Grades and specifications centre on assigned value, uncertainty, and traceability. Standards are characterised by certified purity or concentration, with a stated measurement uncertainty and traceability to national or international references. Certified reference materials produced under ISO 17034 carry full traceability and an uncertainty budget, sitting above general analytical standards in the reference-material hierarchy. Each item ships with a certificate stating the certified value, uncertainty, lot, and expiry. Buyers should specify whether a neat standard, a calibration solution at a stated concentration, or an ISO 17034 CRM is required; CAS and HS classification are provided on documentation rather than asserted here.
