Acid-Base Indicators
Acid-base indicators are dyes that change colour over a defined pH range, used in analytical and quality-control titrations, laboratory pH testing, education and industrial process checks. They are sourced as defined reagent chemicals or as ready-to-use indicator solutions characterised by transition range and colour change.
The range includes phenolphthalein, methyl orange, methyl red, bromothymol blue, bromocresol green, thymol blue, congo red, litmus and universal indicator blends, supplied as solid dye powders or as prepared solutions at stated concentrations in water or alcohol. Products are specified by dye identity and purity (dye content/assay), the pH transition range and colour change, solubility and the applicable reagent grade. CoA per batch confirms identity and assay; HS classification is provided on documentation. Specifications are framed commercially, not as preparation procedures.
Packaging is typically amber glass or HDPE bottles for solutions, and bottles, jars or foil pouches for solid dyes, in laboratory pack sizes from grams to kilograms. Indicator solutions in alcohol may be flammable and ship under ADR/IMDG controls with the relevant UN number and labelling coordinated where required; aqueous and solid grades are commonly non-regulated.
For EU buyers, REACH registration or an Only Representative pathway and CLP/GHS labelling are coordinated where required, with SDS supplied per consignment. SABER/SASO routing applies for Saudi Arabia, and Indian-side documentation is arranged as needed.
Himalay's verified manufacturer and exporter partners supply acid-base indicators with CoA per batch, SDS, REACH/CLP compliance coordinated for EU, GHS labelling, and SABER for Saudi Arabia handled as part of the standard order flow.
