Process Calibrators
Process calibrators are portable instruments used to source and measure the electrical signals that drive industrial process loops, allowing technicians to verify and adjust transmitters, controllers, recorders and valves against a known reference. The primary buyers are process plants, calibration laboratories, instrumentation contractors and OEM panel builders across the EU and GCC who need traceable field calibration of 4-20 mA loops, thermocouples, RTDs and frequency or pulse signals. Multifunction documenting models combine several functions in one handheld, while single-function units focus on mA, voltage or temperature. Key parameters typically include sourcing and measurement ranges (for example 0-24 mA, 0-30 V DC), basic accuracy expressed as a percentage of reading plus a fixed count, resolution, and the loop-supply or HART communication capability where specified.
