Key standards vary by product. Emergency showers and eyewash stations follow EN 15154 (parts for plumbed and self-contained showers and eye/face wash) in Europe, with ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 widely referenced as the international benchmark for flow rate, flushing duration (typically 15 minutes) and water temperature. Safety signs follow ISO 7010 graphical symbols and the ISO 3864 colour and design system; lockout-tagout supports compliant isolation procedures; portable gas detectors follow IEC 60079 (ATEX) for use in explosive atmospheres and the relevant performance standards. First-aid kit contents are usually set by national workplace regulations rather than a single product standard. Note these are largely workplace-safety products rather than wearable PPE, so they sit outside Regulation 2016/425 but under the relevant product and CE directives.
