Digital Oscilloscopes
Digital oscilloscopes capture and display voltage waveforms versus time, letting engineers visualise, measure and debug analog and digital signals across design, validation, manufacturing and service. They are among the most widely used bench instruments in electronics, making them a core sourcing item for EU and GCC electronics manufacturers, design labs, education and maintenance distributors.
The family covers digital storage oscilloscopes (DSO) and mixed-signal oscilloscopes (MSO) that add digital channels. Key specification parameters include bandwidth (from tens of MHz on entry units to several GHz on high-end models), real-time sample rate (typically several times the bandwidth so signals are accurately reconstructed), memory depth, channel count, vertical resolution (commonly 8-bit, with 12-bit or higher on high-resolution models), and waveform-capture rate. Construction is typically a benchtop instrument with a colour display, BNC channel inputs and probe-compensation outputs.
